Quick Answers
- Does Veridicus Scan upload scanned content to a backend?
- No. Scanning and report generation run on-device.
- Why does URL scanning require internet access?
- The app fetches only the HTTPS URL you provide, directly from your device, to analyze its contents.
- Where are recents and reports stored?
- Locally on your device, under app storage.
- How do I share a report safely?
- Use export from the Share screen. Evidence snippets are redacted by default unless you opt in.
Troubleshooting
- URL scan fails: verify the link is valid
https://and reachable from your network. - If a URL redirects, try Lenient mode in the app before scanning again.
- File import fails: ensure the file is not empty and is a supported format.
- No report opened from Recents: older entries may require re-scan if only summary metadata is available.
